Agricultural Mechanization 

Name of the Scheme: Scheme for Agriculture Engineering and Services

Objectives:  

1)       To assist the farmers in installing highly efficient tubewells with the help of high tech. Drilling machines so as to provide assured services of irrigation.

2)       Enforcement of Dangerous machines (Regulation) Act, 1983 Central act 35 of 1983).

3)       Printing of literature in simple language of educating the farmers in various techniques of conservation of energy in agricultural practices.

4)      To render advice to Haryana State Land Development Bank about the suitability of tractors, various agricultural machines and implements including pump sets for providing loan to the farmers and security of the related loan scheme.

5)       Development of tube wells through compressed air.                     

6)       Deepening of rocky wells by Rock Drilling machine.

7)       Appraisal of various projects connected with renewable energy sources.

Financial Outlay : The scheme is being implemented by the State Govt. Year-wise outlay
                          and  expenditure of the scheme of last three years is described below:

Objectives:-

1)     Tubewell boring and boring by Rock drilling

2)     Development of old tubewells by means of compressed air.

3)     Free advice to the farmers for boring of their tubewell installation and purchase of suitable pumping sets, agricultural machines and tractor.

Name of the scheme:- Centrally Sponsored Scheme –Scheme for setting up of Biogas Plants
                                          under National Project on Biogas Development   

Objective:- 

1)        Central subsidy to the different categories of beneficiaries on the rates fixed by the
           Govt. of India for various sizes of biogas plants.

2)        Support fee to private entrepreneurs for turnkey jobs @ Rs.700/- per unit actually set up.

3)        Organization support for organizing construction cum maintenance training courses.

4)        Organizing women and refresher training courses.

 Subsidy is provided to the farmers @ Rs.1800 and 2300 to General category , SC/ST/LL respectively.

Installation of biogas plants
on Turnkey basis

Financial assistance of Rs.700/- is given to the
mason registered by ADC for whom mason is
responsible for repair and maintenance of biogas
plants for three years.

3

Organizing the users training
Courses

 

Training is imparted to the women folk regarding
operation and use of biogas plants. The training is
organized in collaboration with Women and Child
Welfare Deptt. and Panchayats.
